This dress is from Spring 2012 and it is a fab go to piece!
Starting out primarily as a jeans designer, the team of Marcus Wainright and David Neville have grown their line into a top tiered ready to wear line.
Fall Collection 2013 is all about glen check, houndstooth, shearling, leather, the MOST delish sweaters and some vibrant fresh colors thrown in for good measure.
The dress obsession continues (click here to see more). Make it even easier by buying a piece that can be carried into the fall (slap a cardigan on top of this, add boots …et voila!)
Perfect day, easy outfit, all that is missing is the Stanley Cup…GO BRUINS!
Isabel Marant (la belle fille of all gorgeous boho-chicness) has announced a new capsule collection with H&M. If you put your ear to the ground you can hear the line-ups forming already!
Resort Collections are being unveiled right now – apparently a majority of the designers presenting are in DIRE need of a vacation themselves – and their drab & dreary fashions are proof! Marc Jacobs thinks browns, deep reds and tweed is all a gal needs to pack for a winter escape to the sun.
Balenciaga managed to put a smile on my face and make me start dreaming of where to wear 2014 Resort Wear (amazing when you consider Alexander Wang’s Resort Collection was meh at best).
Burberry also nailed it – DELICIOUSNESS ABOUNDED throughout the entire Resort Collection.
Speaking of Burberry, are you ready to pucker up and send kisses care of Burberry & Google? Google’s helping Burberry break internet sales & advertising barriers, in a REALLY cool way! Burberry’s ad campaign is dubbed “Art, Copy & Code”, and the Burberry Kiss is the initial offering. Click here to set up your smoocher to be “mailed” to your sweetie. You kiss the screen, enter your info, enter who the smooch is going to, and then you get to watch a fantastic world map swirl around during the delivery. It is such a fun little exercise – perfect for a Friday!
Topped with my current favorite white button down, a thick collared Alexander McQueen.
In a salute to Sharon Stone, the queen of High/Low Fashion – at the 1996 Oscar’s she wore a black Gap turtleneck with a Valentino skirt, and at the 1998 Oscar’s she donned a Vera Wang skirt and a Gap button down (that she borrowed from her husband’s closet!!).
Kind of empowering to mix it up and respect the budget too!
An unexpected POP of bright blue is exactly what is needed during a FULL WEEK of rain!
DVF Pre-Fall Collection offers these skinny leg black pants with AMAZING leather piping down the legs and across the waist. Plus the blue matches my pedicure (clearly the glass is half full!!!).
